Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the use of Cash Hive - DailyExpense ("App"), a mobile application developed by Divyesh Murani ("Developer"). Our commitment is to provide a secure and private environment for managing your daily expenses.

1. Data Collection and Usage

The App is designed as an offline-first financial tool. Most data remains strictly under your control on your physical device.

A. User Financial Information

The App allows you to input financial data, including income, expenses, categories, dates, and descriptions. This data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted Room database. We do not transmit this data to our servers.

B. Google Account and Backup Services

To provide cross-device synchronization and data security, the App offers an optional Google Drive Backup feature. If you choose to use this feature:

• We use Google Sign-In to authenticate your identity.
• We request permission to access a specific, isolated folder in your Google Drive.
• The App uploads your local database file to this folder solely for backup and restoration purposes.

C. In-App Purchase and Billing

The App uses Google Play Billing to process subscriptions. While the App receives status updates regarding your subscription level, all financial transactions and payment card data are processed securely by Google. We do not store or access your payment credentials.

2. Third-Party Integration

For operational purposes, the App integrates several Google-provided services:

• Google AdMob: Displays advertisements to support the free version. AdMob may use device identifiers (Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads.
• Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage statistics (e.g., screen views, feature interactions) to help us improve the user experience.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Automatically generates technical reports if the App encounters a crash or error. This helps us identify and fix bugs quickly.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. Your data is only shared with the Google services listed above for the exclusive purpose of providing App functionality.

4. Data Retention and Security

Because your data is primarily stored on your device, you are in control of its retention. Deleting the App will remove all local records. If you have created backups on Google Drive, you may delete them at any time through the Google Drive interface.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or via the App Store listing.
