Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the use of Cash Hive-Expense Manager, SIP and EMI ("App"), a mobile application developed by Divyesh Murani ("Developer"). Our commitment is to provide a secure, transparent, and private environment for managing your daily expenses across both iOS and Android platforms.

1. Data Collection and Usage

The App is designed as an offline-first financial manager. All your core financial records remain strictly stored on your physical device.

A. User Financial Information

The App allows you to input financial data including income, expenses, categories, dates, and descriptions. This data is saved locally on your device using an encrypted local database (Room DB on Android / SQLite/SwiftData on iOS). We do not transmit or store your financial data on our external servers.

B. Backup and Synchronization Services

🤖 Android (Google Drive Backup)

Android users can enable optional Google Drive Backup. We use Google Sign-In to authenticate and request access solely to an isolated folder in your Google Drive to upload/restore your encrypted database backup file. Backups are under your complete control.

 iOS (Files & iCloud Backup)

iOS users can utilize manual database backup & export. Backup files can be saved securely to iOS Files, iCloud Drive, or shared location of your choice. Automatic background uploads are never performed without user action.

2. Subscriptions & In-App Billing

We offer optional Premium Subscriptions and Lifetime access to enjoy an ad-free experience and unlock premium tools. Billing is processed natively by each platform store:

 Apple App Store (iOS)

StoreKit Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
  • Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID Account at purchase confirmation.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Renewal Charge: Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime via your Apple ID Account Settings on iOS.
  • Privacy: All billing data is handled exclusively by Apple. The Developer does not store or access your payment card credentials.
  • Terms of Use (EULA): Subject to Apple's Standard EULA.

🤖 Google Play Store (Android)

Google Play Billing
  • Billing: Payment is processed securely via Google Play Billing at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in Google Play Store settings prior to renewal date.
  • Management: Manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in Google Play Store under Payments & Subscriptions.
  • Privacy: All financial transactions are managed by Google. Developer receives no payment credentials.

For operational stability, performance monitoring, and app funding, the App integrates industry-standard Google services on both iOS and Android:

We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer your personal or financial information to third parties. Data is only processed through the Google services listed above for app operation.

5. Data Retention and Security

Because your data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the App will delete all local financial records. Any external backups saved to Google Drive or iCloud/Files can be managed or deleted directly through Google Drive or iOS Files.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general adult audience financial management. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
